Your artist: Linker

Linker is GOAT's Maori and Polynesian specialist and one of the studio's most experienced mentors. He is known for large, technically demanding pieces that need precise linework over long sessions, and he has trained dozens of apprentices who now tattoo professionally. Tony, who specializes in bold linework and freehand Maori-inspired designs drawn directly on the body, also works on Maori pieces at the studio.

What we design

  • Full and half sleeves that wrap the arm and follow the muscles
  • Shoulder and chest pieces that flow from the collarbone onto the arm
  • Leg panels and full legs
  • Smaller pieces: forearm bands, calf pieces, shoulder caps
  • Polynesian patterns combined with mandala or ornamental work

Custom and respectful

Tā moko is a sacred Māori practice that belongs to Māori people. What most travelers wear is Maori-inspired art, often called kirituhi, made for people outside Māori communities.

Every design is drawn for you. We don't copy another person's tattoo. In the consultation we talk about the symbols you want, such as ocean, family, protection or a journey, and how they fit together on your body.

Prices
