This isn’t something Vietnam offers an equivalent of, and it’s not really a “style” you can request elsewhere — it’s tied to a specific spiritual practice and lineage. If Sak Yant specifically is what you’re after, Thailand is genuinely the place for that, not a close call.

For custom Western-style, Japanese-style, fine line, blackwork, or realism work, though, that’s a different question entirely — both countries have skilled studios doing all of it well, and which one is “better” comes down to the individual artist, not the country.
