Pharmacies, ATMs and Clinics Near GOAT Tattoo on Trang Thi
Published October 13, 2026

Short answer: Around GOAT Tattoo Studio at 56 Trang Thi you can sort out everything a tattoo trip needs on foot. There are pharmacies within about 100 m, 24-hour convenience stores within about 200 m, several ATMs within 300 m, and the Ha Trung money-exchange street about 300 m away. The Hanoi Hospital of Dermatology is about 600 m away if a healing problem needs a doctor.
All locations below come from Google Maps in October 2026. Distances are straight-line from the studio, so the walk is a little longer. Opening hours change, so treat “listed as open 24 hours” as a guide, not a promise.
Aftercare supplies: pharmacies and shops
You don’t need special tattoo products. A mild, fragrance-free soap, a plain fragrance-free moisturiser and, later, sunscreen are enough. Our aftercare products guide explains what to look for on the label.
Pharmacies closest to the studio
- Nhà Thuốc Dược Phẩm Hà Nội, 206 Hang Bong, about 90 m.
- Hapharco Pharmacy Branch No. 5, 5 Cua Nam, about 80 m.
- Nhà Thuốc Thu Hương, 52 Quan Su, about 150 m.
- Pharmacity, Hang Bong, about 370 m. Part of a large national chain, listed as open 24 hours.
- 24H Pharmacy, 6 Hang Bong, about 580 m. Listed as open 24 hours.
Convenience stores and supermarkets
- Nhật Ý Mart, 178 Hang Bong, about 100 m. Listed as open 24 hours.
- Circle K, 79 Ha Trung, about 200 m. Open 24 hours.
- GS25, Ha Trung corner of Hang Bong, about 230 m. Open 24 hours.
- WinMart+, Cua Nam, about 240 m. A small supermarket.
- KaMart, 83 Phu Doan, about 340 m.
Convenience stores are handy for bottled water, unscented wipes, paper towels and a basic soap. For moisturiser and anything medical, a pharmacy has a better range.
Words that help at the counter. Most pharmacies in this area are used to tourists, and showing the word on your phone works well:
- unscented / fragrance-free soap: xà phòng không mùi
- fragrance-free moisturiser: kem dưỡng không mùi
- sunscreen: kem chống nắng
- allergy medicine (antihistamine): thuốc dị ứng
Cash: ATMs and money exchange
GOAT accepts cash, Visa and Mastercard, but cash is still useful in Hanoi. Our guide on how to pay for a tattoo in Hanoi covers ATM limits, card fees and currency-conversion traps.
ATMs closest to the studio
- TPBank LiveBank, 207 Hang Bong, about 75 m. Open 24 hours.
- ACB ATM, 40 Phung Hung, about 150 m.
- TPBank LiveBank, 12 Tong Duy Tan, about 180 m. Open 24 hours.
- Vietcombank ATMs, 32 and 34B Tran Phu, about 290–300 m.
- VIB ATM, 64 Ly Thuong Kiet, about 310 m. Open 24 hours.
- Techcombank ATM, 43 Cua Nam, about 355 m. Open 24 hours.
Withdrawal limits and fees depend on both the Vietnamese bank and your own bank, so if one machine gives you a low limit, try a different bank’s ATM.
Money exchange
Ha Trung street, about 300 m from the studio, has a cluster of gold and jewellery shops that exchange foreign currency, at No. 25A, 27 and 27–29. Ngo Tram alley, about 270–360 m away, has two more well-reviewed exchange counters: Hanoi Old Quarters Exchange & Souvenir at No. 33 (4.9 stars, 181 reviews) and Hanoi currency at No. 1 (4.9 stars, 219 reviews). Rates differ from shop to shop, so check the rate before you hand over cash and count what you get back at the counter.
If you’re worried about your tattoo
Most redness, swelling and tenderness in the first few days is normal. Our guide to normal healing versus infection lists the warning signs that actually matter. If something worries you, message us first with a photo. We’d much rather look at it early.
If you need a doctor, these are the closest options. We haven’t listed ratings here, because hospital reviews on Maps mostly reflect waiting times and admin, not the quality of care.
- Hanoi Hospital of Dermatology (Bệnh viện Da liễu Hà Nội), 79B Nguyen Khuyen, about 600 m. The city’s skin hospital, the right place for skin infections and allergic reactions.
- Viet Duc Hospital (Bệnh viện Hữu nghị Việt Đức), 40 Trang Thi, about 270 m. One of Vietnam’s main surgical and trauma hospitals, a few hundred metres up the same street.
- Hanoi French Hospital, 1 Phuong Mai, and Family Medical Practice Hanoi, 298I Kim Ma, both about 2.7 km away by taxi. International facilities often used by foreign visitors.
- National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology (Bệnh viện Da liễu Trung ương), 15A Phuong Mai, about 2.8 km away by taxi.
In an emergency, the ambulance number in Vietnam is 115. For an itchy rash or suspected ink allergy, our ink allergy guide for travellers explains when a pharmacy is enough and when to see a doctor.
